I Send Off the Day – spoken
I wrote this short piece of prose one night, sitting with my thoughts in the kitchen, staring at a little fire I’d lit out the back door. It’s as much about the place where ideas come from, as it is of anything. I recorded a 30 second read of it and posted the raw file (no edits, no effects) to the ABC website POOL (now defunct) inviting anyone to run with it and produce it as they liked. This collaborative mix instigated by Jutta Pryor was produced by Sean Scott (deceased) with a stunning soundtrack by David Porteous, ‘Cane Fire’. Thanks team, it’s a great listen all round. Live on Sean.
